This was a recreation I found off of Pintriest. The assignment was to create a colorful animal with patterns and this piece caught my eye mostly due to it being easy to remake and had a fun design. A few things liked about his piece was the shape of the turtle, I felt that it looked pretty accurate to my reference photo. I didn't have much of a problem matching the colors to my reference photo too, which is a problem I tend to have when trying to recreate art pieces. One thing I would do differently is to try to make the spirals on the back neater and smaller, that is the only challenge I had while making my Alebrijes.
