Unit 3 Projects

This was a fun project to create! I learned to work with coils and building my skills with jars and lids. I did run into problems such ashow I was going to make the lid due to the inside of the jar reflecting the outside. I smoothed the inside out and it became a fully functional jar. 

I would say this was the hardest project to create mostly because of the small elements I had to include onto the monster's body, but the biggest problem I faced was the monster's body and how I was going to make a cone shape. Through a lot of trial and error I finally got to a point where I really loved how this project turned out

I loved this technique for making cups. Similarilaly what I said in my sgraffito projects, I faced new challenges like cup handles and making sure the handle was smooth and stable. Luckily these problems were easy to overcome!

I loved how the cup turned out and overall really enjoyed creating this sgrafito project. I learned the technique of sgrafito and ways improves making cups & handles. Overall I can really see myself using this technique in future projects.
